This excellent 2-day combination enables visitors to take in the wonders of sea life on Green Island as well as the tropical rainforest area of Kuranda.
The first day depart from Cairns by catamaran and see the coral cay of the Great Barrier Reef. Relax on Green Island alongside the resort pool or explore the island leisurely. Return to the boat for enjoying a buffet lunch in an air-conditioned environment of cabins and lounge area.
The second day you board the Kuranda Scenic Railway for your trip to Kuranda where you visit markets as well as going to the rainforest station of the Nature Park to see the wildlife up close. The return to Cairns is by the Sky-rail, which takes you on a sightseeing venture over the rainforest canopy.
