The lovely coral cay of Green Island lies within the Marine National Park of the Great Barrier Reef, finished with emerald rainforest and encompassed by white sandy shorelines. Experience marine life such as brilliant fish, turtles, giant clams, starfish and sea anemones.

Green Island is easily accessible from Cairns with a boat ride on an airconditioned catamaran allowing you to enjoy the tropical atmosphere. On the 15 nautical mile journey to Green Island you’ll have the opportunity to view options for activities to undertake once you arrive. You can select from glass-bottom boat tours, pontoon visits, semi-submersible, coral viewing tours, scuba diving and snorkeling.

Green Island Resort has shops and swimming pools, showers, change rooms and restrooms. Items available for hire include canoes, surf skis, sailboards, shade umbrellas and beach chairs. The island has short strolling tracks through the national park. Select from 9am or 11am as your departure time, and package with a range of other activities to make a full experience.





Tour departs from Cairns hotels (if option selected at time of booking). If hotel pickup not selected you must make your own way to the Reef Fleet Terminal, The Pier, Cairns QLD 4870

Rainforest Vine

Can you tell us what the name of the rainforest vine is we saw it had a purple flower on it and our guide talked about it a lot. Great guy.
